Smyth Composites Ltd was formed in 1988 and has rapidly built up a reputation as a premier manufacturer of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) flat sheet products in the United Kingdom. Operating from our own 38,000 square foot factory in Carnoustie, Angus, we supply customers the length and breadth of the United Kingdom, several countries in Europe, and have entered distribution agreements with organisations in the USA and the Middle East.
Our ethos is based on quality and service. The management team, Paul Morris (Commercial Manager), Ross Smyth (Managing Director) and Bill Johnston (Factory Manager), lead a team where 70% of our 34 employees have been with us for 8 or more years.
As a local employer of over 30 people we recognise our responsibility to support the local and global community, including sponsoring local football teams, contributing to Scotland in Bloom, and supporting charitable projects overseas.
